About The Company

Our client is an established healthcare services provider operating licensed ambulance services in Singapore. As part of its next phase of growth, the company is seeking an entrepreneurial commercial leader to develop and expand its Ambulance & Medical Transport business.

This is a unique opportunity to build a business unit from the ground up by establishing strategic partnerships, securing long-term service contracts, and positioning the company as a preferred provider of ambulance and patient transport solutions across Singapore's healthcare ecosystem.

The Role

Reporting directly to the MD, you will lead the commercial development of the Ambulance & Medical Transport business. You will be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, participating in tenders, and driving sustainable business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building businesses rather than simply maintaining existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for the Ambulance & Medical Transport business.
• Identify new business opportunities across hospitals, community hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, rehabilitation centres, dialysis providers, home healthcare organisations and corporate clients.
• Establish strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, insurers, assistance companies and medical institutions.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of recurring service contracts.

Tender & Commercial Management

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities through GeBIZ and other procurement platforms.
• Lead the preparation of quotations, proposals, presentations and commercial submissions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and service contracts.

Market Development

• Analyse market trends, competitors and customer requirements.
• Recommend new services, partnerships and market segments.
• Develop pricing strategies and commercial models.
• Represent the company at healthcare events and networking functions.

Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with hospital administrators, discharge planners, procurement teams and healthcare decision-makers.
• Maintain regular engagement with existing customers to identify opportunities for business expansion.

Business Performance

• Develop sales forecasts and business plans.
• Monitor revenue growth, pipeline conversion and customer acquisition.
• Report business performance to senior management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Development, Commercial Management or Strategic Partnerships.
• Proven track record in developing new business and securing commercial contracts.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
