Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support data center network infrastructure deployments for Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is ideal for professionals with experience in infrastructure project management, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and data center or network operations.

Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Project Manager (TIPM)

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 9 months (possible extension or conversion to full time)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of data center network infrastructure projects.
• Manage project milestones, dependencies, and supplier readiness across multiple teams.
• Track 20–40 concurrent projects and proactively remove blockers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Hardware, Optical, Fiber, Field Operations, and Vendors.
• Monitor project progress, provide status updates, and escalate risks when needed.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and continuous process improvements.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–5+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience.
• Experience managing infrastructure, network, telecom, or data center deployment projects.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for project tracking and reporting.
• Basic understanding of networking, fiber optics, optical transport, or data center infrastructure.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale data centers.
• Knowledge of change management and workflow/ticketing systems.
• Experience with supplier management and infrastructure deployment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with optical networking, fiber infrastructure, or telecom environments.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and escalation management.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Supply Chain, or a related field.
