Business Analyst

Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2-3 days a Week or can be a Remote)Employment type: Full Time/ W2 ContractWe are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Business Analyst for a contract position based in the US. This role will support an operations team responsible for data governance activities and map enterprise data assets across the company.

Understanding what data is available, where it resides, and who owns it is critical. The ideal candidate should be a proactive professional who can engage with stakeholders across the organization, drive accountability, and ensure data asset inventories remain accurate and comprehensive.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Discovery & Mapping
• Partner with business units to identify, document, and catalog data assets.
• Work across enterprise platforms including:ERPHRISCRMCLMCPQCloud Infrastructure
• Core Security Systems
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Actively engage with stakeholders from individual contributors to Vice Presidents.
• Gather and validate data classification and ownership details.
• Data Inventory Management
• Help build and maintain the central inventory of data sources.
• Ensure assets are securely classified.
• Confirm ownership and stewardship assignments.
• Relationship & Process Management
• Work with newly assigned technical contacts.
• Gather requirements and maintain consistency in documentation and deliverables.
• Project Tracking
• Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and documentation.
• Provide leadership visibility into project status and data discovery progress.
