Client Overview

Vernovis is partnering with a leading enterprise organization seeking a Senior IT Analyst to drive business and technology initiatives across multiple teams. This role is ideal for a technically savvy, proactive professional who excels at gathering business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering technology solutions that create measurable business value.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders, service providers, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications for IT initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, diagrams, and user stories.
• Analyze complex business and technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and recommend effective solutions.
• Measure and monitor IT service performance using KPIs and metrics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assess business risks related to IT initiatives and escalate issues appropriately to minimize disruption and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of business processes, application architecture, data flows, and system integrations while identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Demonstrate financial and budgeting acumen by analyzing trends and supporting technology investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and organizational standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What Experience You'll Have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7-9 years of experience in a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with knowledge of IT service management, business processes, and technology domains.

What Experience is Nice to Have

• Experience working within matrixed organizations and managing relationships with external service providers.
• Understanding of contracts, vendor management, and service level agreements (SLAs).
