Senior HR / Assistant HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR / Assistant HR Manager to oversee the end-to-end Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll coordination, HR policies, compliance, training, and HR operations.

Experience in the trading, distribution, FMCG, or retail sector is preferred.

Candidates with hands-on experience managing HR operations within JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone) and a strong understanding of UAE labour laws and free zone regulations will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
• Source, screen, interview, and shortlist suitable candidates.
• Negotiate offers and manage the onboarding process.HR Operations
• Manage employee onboarding, orientation, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
• Handle HR audits and maintain statutory documentation.
• Handle HR processes related to JAFZA, including employee registration, visa processing, employment contracts, and compliance with free zone regulations.
• Employee Relations
• Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
• Advise managers on HR policies and employee relations issues.
• Performance Management
• Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process.
• Support managers in setting KPIs and performance improvement plans.

Ensure accurate payroll inputs and statutory deductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is preferred.
• Experience8–12+ years of comprehensive HR experience.
• Experience in a trading, distribution, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with HRMS/ERP systems is essential.
• Hands-on experience managing HR operations in JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone) is mandatory or highly preferred.
