Senior Project Manager- Line Transfer

Project Manager | Manufacturing Line Transfer | Longford | ContractAre you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead a high-impact manufacturing transformation project?I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturer for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the transfer of a manufacturing line from an international facility to Ireland.

This is a business-critical project that will play a key role in expanding manufacturing capability while ensuring uninterrupted customer supply.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading complex engineering or manufacturing projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You'll be responsible for coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing project risks and driving accountability to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major manufacturing line transfer project.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure equipment installation, qualification and production ramp-up activities are delivered successfully.
• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Balance project scope, timelines and budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors and contractors.
• Ensure continuity of customer supply throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote structured project management methodologies and continuous improvement.

Required

Proven experience managing engineering, manufacturing or capital projects.

Strong project planning, scheduling and budget management experience.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing line transfers or technology transfer projects.

Equipment installation, commissioning or facility expansions.

Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of validation and regulated manufacturing processes.
