The Operational Mandate: Elite F&B EPC ExecutionWe are securing an Operational Lead to serve as the Construction Project Manager for the Food & Beverage sector, based out of St. Louis, MO, or Columbus, OH. You will serve as the strategic linchpin for complex Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects, driving day-to-day operations from pre-construction conceptualization through final project turnover and warranty administration.

You will have total command over project safety, prime and subcontract negotiations, budget controls, and field staff utilization.

The Tactical Scope: Total Downstream CommandPre-Construction & Strategic Bidding: Direct the downstream Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Prepare detailed scope of work documents, oversee bidder development, prequalification, and final selection while participating in conceptual estimating and cost development.

Risk & Commercial Management: Consult directly with the Legal Department for internal/external project risk reviews. Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, and subcontracts. Implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP), including the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP), Safety & Health Plan, and Procurement Plan.

Site Logistics & Craft Leadership: Oversee site layout, mobilization, and demobilization. Manage complex labor burdens, including craft classifications, labor laws, and composite crew rates. Uphold craft training standards, manage project labor agreements, and foster critical relationships with community building trades.

Financial Command & Reporting: Leverage a firm grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to control multi-million-dollar budgets. Track earned value, manage change orders and claims mitigation, and deliver transparent cash flow forecasts to internal and external executive management.

Lifecycle & Turnover: Coordinate materials receiving, inventory control, and equipment utilization. Facilitate client and company commissioning teams, directing the final project turnover documentation, warranty administration, and recordkeeping retention.

The DNA of a Growth ArchitectA strategic foundation with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (applicable battle-tested experience may be substituted).7+ years of driving complex project management within the construction industry, with deep exposure to Food & Beverage, aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, or water infrastructure.

Proficiency in advanced document control, scheduling, and project management software, alongside standard Microsoft Office suite tools.

The mobility and willingness to travel up to 50% to ensure operational excellence on the ground.

A highly competitive base salary of $130,000–$140,000.
