$100k - $150k base + bonus ($150k - $200k total compensation)

Our client, a $5B+ alternative asset manager based in New York City, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its growing finance team and support the management company’s accounting operations.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an accounting professional to take ownership of corporate accounting, financial reporting, cash management, accounts payable, expense management, and month-end close processes while working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting experience, QuickBooks expertise, and a hands-on approach to managing accounting operations in a lean environment. Candidates from corporate accounting, public accounting, professional services, technology, healthcare, real estate, or other non-financial services industries are encouraged to apply.

Prior asset management experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Strong corporate accounting and full-cycle accounting background
• Experience owning month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• QuickBooks experience required
• Experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, AP, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a lean finance team
• CPA preferred but not required
