- We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our US finance team.
- The Staff Accountant supports the finance and accounting team by performing daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- This role assists with reconciliations, accounts analysis, and compliance with company policies and GAAP.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITESManage Accounts Payable by reviewing and processing invoices, expense reports and vendor payments
- Create purchase orders for non-operational overhead expenses
- Reconciles and researches supplier inquiries while working closely with vendors, purchasing agents and accounting personnel to resolve problems and disputes
- Performs data verification audits to ensure output quality, payment status and compliance with company policies and practices
- Maintain certificates of insurance and W-9 forms, while gathering updated information as require
- Support billing, cash applications and customer account maintenance
- Monitor aging schedules and assist with collections as needed.
- Manage necessary customer portals for payment reconciliation, invoicing, and compliance needs
- Perform credit application analysis and credit reference requests
- Assist with FER business line collection activity
- Provide accounting support to Sr. Accounting Analyst & Controller as needed with any other accounting related tasks (audit, reconciliations).
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: Must have 4+ years of experience in Finance (preferably one within a fast-paced global company
- Education: Associate degree in accounting or related field required (depending on years of experience).
- Skillset and Technology
Requirements
- Experience in Business Central preferred
- Ability to organize data and apply business context to improve processes
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, analytic, communication, writing and presentation skills
- Communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, professional, and concise manner with colleagues in various roles and areas of the organization
- Detail oriented and Proficient in MS Teams and Excel.
- Subject to Excel test prior to hire.
