About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Human Resources to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations and support business objectives in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong knowledge of Singapore employment practices and experience partnering with stakeholders across various functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and offboarding.
• Partner with department managers on manpower planning, talent acquisition, and workforce development.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Singapore employment legislation and company guidelines.
• Support performance review processes, employee engagement initiatives, and learning & development programmes.
• Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and best practices.
• Administer compensation and benefits, leave management, and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR reports, analyse workforce data, and support management decision-making.
• Coordinate with payroll and relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely HR administration.
• Support HR projects, process improvements, and other ad hoc initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience handling the full spectrum of HR functions.
• Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
