Mondrian Alpha
Our client, a global and well-established hedge fund undergoing a period of significant expansion, are looking to hire a London based HR Advisor.
The firm has built up a sterling reputation in the market as one of the most innovative investors on the buy-side but have always run a very lean and flat team structure and as the firm grows they are looking to evolve the structure of the HR team, moving towards a HR BP model.
The hire will take on a multi-faceted role, reporting to the CHRO, taking on HR Business Partnering responsibilities whilst also working to drive process improvement and change initiatives as HR infrastructure is developed.
The hire will take ownership of a specific business line working with senior leaders of the team on the design, delivery and execution of people strategy from managing key employee lifecycle events, talent development and workforce planning and playing a key role in the re-vamp of the firm’s performance management and internal mobility framework.
The hire will also have the chance to drive key people transformation initiatives across operational and more tactical processes, particularly focusing on driving better synchronization through the integration of the HRIS and people analytics.
The role offers a HR Manager or a current HRBP the opportunity to step into a highly visible and autonomous role and work closely with the Head of HR, Legal and Operations to drive the maturation of the firm’s HR function as the firm moves to its next stage of growth.
This is a business-critical hire into a lean and collaborative team so the ideal candidate will have well rounded generalist experience and be able to drive initiatives autonomously whilst also scaling a learning curve. The successful candidate will have a track record of driving high impact projects and initiatives in previous roles and a strong academic record.
While the search is focused on strong candidates from leading hedge funds or asset managers, my client is also open to bringing in a strong HR professional from a leading consultancy or FinTech firm.
The successful candidate can expect a strong increase on their base salary, likely capped at £125k. The firm are known to be one of the market leading bonus payers in the hedge fund industry. Employees also receive fantastic benefits including top of the line private healthcare, insurance, subsided meals and gym allowances as well as support for professionals pursing further qualifications.
