Job Summary

Join a leading global automotive corporation and lead the strategy, delivery, and support of enterprise IT platforms. ACCU-STAFF is seeking a Platform IT Manager based in Oakville, ON to oversee critical IT platforms that support manufacturing, engineering, and corporate operations worldwide.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can manage platforms, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Leadership: Own and manage enterprise IT platforms including ERP, MES, PLM, and manufacturing systems across multiple sites
• Strategy & Roadmap: Define platform strategy, roadmaps, and architecture to align with global business objectives
• Project Delivery: Lead implementation, upgrades, and integrations of IT platforms.
• Manage vendors and internal stakeholders
• Global Collaboration: Partner with IT teams and business leaders across North America, Europe, and China to standardize platforms and best practices
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of platform analysts, engineers, and support staff.
• Handle performance, development, and succession planning
• Operations: Ensure platform stability, security, and performance.
• Oversee incident management, change control, and service levels
• Budget & Vendor Management: Manage platform budgets, licensing, and vendor contracts.
• Drive cost optimization
• Compliance: Ensure platforms meet automotive industry standards, cybersecurity requirements, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required.
• Master’s preferred7+ years experience managing IT platforms in a large enterprise environment required3+ years experience in a leadership or management role with direct reports required
• Deep experience with ERP, MES, PLM, or manufacturing IT platforms.
• Automotive experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data management
• Proven experience managing global projects and working with international teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
• Ability to travel internationally to North America, Europe, and China 2-3 times per year
• PMP, ITIL, or similar certification is an asset
