As a Market Leader, you will operate as an extension of the Executive Regional Leader, driving strategy execution, strengthening our market presence, and accelerating growth across key communities throughout Southwestern Ontario.

You will lead with purpose, guiding market expansion, deepening client relationships, unlocking new opportunities, and inspiring teams to deliver with excellence while bringing WSP’s One-Team mindset to life every day.

This opportunity is open to exceptional candidates across Southwestern Ontario. Successful candidates may be based in any major WSP office within the region, including London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Burlington, Windsor, and St. Catharines.

Your Impact

• Develop and execute the growth strategy for Southwestern Ontario, translating vision into clear, measurable outcomes.
• Champion client and market growth by leveraging the market heatmap, driving strategic pursuits, and collaborating closely with Regional and Sector leadership.
• Strengthen client relationships and elevate client care in partnership with the Canadian Client Program, using data-driven insights to guide decisions and investments.
• Support Regional M&A activities, including opportunity identification and integration efforts.
• Oversee Local Market Engagement initiatives and partner with Marketing to enhance WSP’s visibility, reputation, and strategic investments across the region.
• Build a culture anchored in safety, collaboration, inclusion, and community impact.
• Foster meaningful knowledge sharing and stronger connections across sectors, offices, and Corporate Services teams.
• Co-lead workplace and client experience improvements in partnership with Office Leadership and Real Estate teams.
• Ensure effective HSE and Emergency Response preparedness and execution across the market.
• Represent WSP with industry associations, community organizations, clients, and all levels of government to strengthen our regional presence and influence.
• Be accountable for market performance, including net revenue, sales, DSO, client satisfaction, and turnover, while proactively responding to insights and emerging trends.
• Elevate technical and advisory excellence by identifying capability strengths, gaps, and opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.
• Celebrate and showcase project wins, client successes, and people achievements to build pride, visibility, and connection across the Southwestern Ontario market.

• You think strategically and execute pragmatically, bringing clarity, focus, and measurable results at the local market level.
• You understand the unique economic, municipal, industrial, and infrastructure drivers that shape growth across Southwestern Ontario.
• Experience leading across multiple sectors or holding P&L responsibility is considered an asset.
