Corporate Advisory & Taxation Consultant

Role Overview

The Corporate Advisory & Taxation Consultant will play a critical role in advising on strategic corporate matters while also supporting compliance and planning in corporate taxation. This dual-function position requires a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on corporate structuring, business transactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring from both strategic and tax perspectives.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient business strategies in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with corporate tax obligations, including preparation, review, and submission of required filings.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting corporate finance and taxation, and assess their impact on the business.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align corporate strategy with financial planning and tax optimization.
• Represent the company in discussions with tax authorities and regulatory bodies as required.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for new ventures and business models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s or professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate advisory and/or taxation roles, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in handling complex business transactions and strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
