Berkeley Middle East is looking for a highly accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will oversee the company's financial operations, drive long-term financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide commercial insights that support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting functions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to maintain organizational stability.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and operational efficiencies.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Required Skills

• Exceptional leadership and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial management software.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or CIMA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
• Proven experience leading finance functions within multinational organizations or diversified business groups.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, financial transformation, and operational excellence.
