Deputy Manager Finance - Shipping Liner

One of our reputed group of client who are into Shipping Liner is looking for a Deputy Finance Managerin Kenya.

The position is in Mombasa and reporting to finance manager in Chinasupports the Finance Manager/Director by overseeing daily financial operations, preparing reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, analyzing performance, and assisting with financial strategy, acting as a key link between finance and other departments to drive efficiency and financial health

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and management reports.
• Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, variances, and providing recommendations for cost savings or process improvement.
• Assisting with budget preparation, monitoring performance against budgets, and forecasting.
• Ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulations; assisting with audits.
• Managing the finance team, setting objectives, and optimizing department processes.
• Contributing to financial strategy, risk management, and decision-making for senior management.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be minimum M.Com with minimum 5 years experience in shipping liner business
• Prefer a candidate with previous experience in any African country Candidate available in India or any any location is also preferred, Initial interview will be on ZOOM.
