Finance Manager- UAE National

This position is exclusively available to Abu Dhabi Emirati candidates and requires those with Finance Manager experience. Joining a new start up in the creative sector. you will manage the finance function from the ground up, ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and strategic financial planning as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organisation's finance function.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning, and treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, governance standards, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee financial risk management and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision making.
• Monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Assist in implementing financial systems and reporting frameworks suitable for a growing organisation.
• Build and develop the finance team as the organisation expands.

Requirements

• This position is exclusively available to Abu Dhabi UAE National (Family Book) candidates.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CIMA is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant position with broad exposure across financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, financial controls, and statutory compliance.
• Experience establishing or improving finance processes and controls is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Previous experience within the government, semi-government, or regulated sector would be advantageous.
