General Accountant(spouse visa preferred)

We are a group company with multi sector operations divisions seeking a General Accountant to handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE VAT regulations. The ideal candidate should have minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience, strong analytical skills, and hands‑on expertise with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting — Manage AP, AR, petty cash, bank entries, and journal vouchers.
• Reconciliation — Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• VAT Filing — Prepare VAT reports, ensure correct VAT treatment, and assist with FTA submissions.
• Financial Reporting — Support month‑end closing, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow preparation.
• Payroll Accounting — Process payroll entries and calculate EOSB.
• Audit Support — Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Inventory & Assets — Maintain fixed asset register and assist with stock audits.
• Cash & Cheque Management — Handle petty cash, bank reconciliations, and cheque tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in Accounting software and ERP, Tally, QuickBooks, ZOHO, or other ERP systems
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Excel
• Financial Analysis
• Experience with WPS payroll
• Basic knowledge of FTA guidelines
