Fit-Out Estimator / Qs - Freelance

Role Description

This is a Part-time, on-site role for a Fit-Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (QS) based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and BOQs, conducting quantity take-offs, managing tender submissions, and supporting cost control throughout projects.

Key responsibilities include conducting site visits, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing accurate BOQs and cost plans, evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, and assisting in contract administration.

The role also requires close coordination with project, commercial, and site teams to ensure budget adherence, timely reporting, and compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fit-out estimation and quantity surveying (MANDATORY EXPERIENCE WITH FIT-OUT CONTRACTORS)
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods, and fit-out technical specifications
• Experience in preparing BOQs, cost plans, tender submissions, and variation claims
• Ability to evaluate and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and estimation/quantity surveying software
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and strong cost-control mindset
• Experience within the UAE interior fit-out or contracting industry is an advantage
