Position Overview

Accounts and Tax Manager

An Accounts and Tax Manager is responsible for managing the company’s accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance functions. The role requires full knowledge and strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance activities.
• Apply full knowledge of IFRS and IAS in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT regulations, and other applicable tax requirements.
• Prepare and review tax returns, tax calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Monitor financial controls, budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with statutory requirements and international accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business decision-making.
• Stay updated with changes in IFRS, IAS, UAE tax laws, and international accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in IFRS, IAS, UAE tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance management.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
