Job Purpose
Support the Mid Corporate Team to grow a portfolio of profitable customers in defined geographical markets in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth and opportunity targets.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing credit applications by assessing business, financial, industry, market, buyer, supplier, and product/service risks in accordance with the bank’s prescribed format.
- Extract, review, and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and other complex financial reports to provide accurate risk assessments.
- Review and verify documentation during both the pre-approval and post-approval stages of the facility lifecycle to ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Support the team in the day-to-day administration and monitoring of the client portfolio, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Customer /Service
- Assist the Senior Vice President or Vice President in managing the bank’s relationship with customers within the assigned mid-corporate portfolio tier.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client queries, ensuring all interactions align with the bank’s established service standards.
- Support efforts to improve customer service outcomes and overall satisfaction across the managed portfolios.
- Proactively identify client needs and ensure that all customer files and related records are maintained in compliance with the bank’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Risk
- Identify acceptable levels of credit risk in alignment with the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement, while optimizing profitability from each transaction.
- Promote and uphold a strong risk management culture consistent with the Bank’s values and governance framework.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to assigned responsibilities through service requests in Ignite; ensure adherence to the Bank’s complaint resolution process to uphold service standards and mitigate potential losses.
- Foster a safe environment where team members are encouraged to raise and discuss risks or concerns openly with leadership.
- Ensure high standards of data quality by maintaining accurate and timely information in the Bank’s systems and related documentation.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely closure of outstanding audit issues.
- Track and monitor covenant conditions, insurance coverage and expiry , and other relevant obligor-related documentation.
- Monitor post-approval processes, including disbursal and related operational steps, to ensure timely execution and compliance.
