THE JOB

To standardize and optimize fixed assets accounting and related processes to provide better services to business units and other stakeholders of the group by adhering to Almarai accounting policies, procedures, standards, and the International Financial Reporting Standards..

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Knowledge of IFRSs/IAS and its application
• Knowledge of advance accounting entries

Qualifications

• Fully or Part qualification in CA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA/CPA or any equivalent accounting body.
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial accounting background.
• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
