Accountant (Fit-Out Industry)

ARAS Group is seeking a skilled Accountant with hands-on experience in the UAE fit-out and interior fit-out industry. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can effectively manage accounting operations while supporting project-based financial activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing project and job costing, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and monitor project costing and job costing reports.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Assist with VAT documentation, filing, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accounting data using ERP systems and prepare reports in Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE Fit-Out or Interior Fit-Out industry.
• Strong understanding of project costing and job costing principles.
• Experience managing AP, AR, VAT, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Financial reporting and accounting best practices
