A kids nursery in Sharjah is seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join the team and support the management of financial operations.

Location: Al Khan, Sharjah, UAE

Position Overview

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial accounting functions and supporting accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a solid foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
• Monitor financial data and assist in identifying trends or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and records.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar role).
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
