The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. You will be primarily accountable for ensuring that project scopes are completed within budget and on time, while consistently meeting or exceeding our clients' expectations.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a "culture of accountability" and provides legendary customer service in every interaction with stakeholders and internal team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Client Relations

• Manage Client Expectations: Act as the primary point of contact for builders and homeowners, ensuring effective and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Financial Oversight: Evaluate project deliverables, including financials, hours, and material needs to ensure project goals are achievable and within budget.
• Project Monitoring: Continually monitor project progression to ensure adherence to requirements and financial plans.
• Change Management: Lead the change order process and maintain the overall client experience once a project is transitioned from Sales to Operations.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with the Director of Operations to implement timely solutions.

Team Development & Management

• Mentorship: Coach, mentor, and develop the technical team to help them achieve both personal and company objectives.
• Accountability: Conduct monthly 1x1s with direct reports and hold technicians accountable for project-related expectations and daily reporting.
• Resource Coordination: Manage technician scheduling for optimal utilization, minimizing drive time and downtime.

Tactical Execution

• Communication: Conduct weekly check-ins with builders and homeowners and participate in daily PM huddles.
• Project Audits: Attend bi-weekly project audit meetings, prepared to discuss all aspects of assigned projects.
• Site Presence: Strive to be on-site for the first and last day of multi-day projects to ensure clear direction and successful implementation.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project files, track materials, and provide progress billing timelines to the accounting department.

Performance Standards

• Project Closure: Ensure all projects are closed and pushed to accounting within 5 business days of substantial completion.
• Service Handoff: Complete project-to-service transitions within 5 business days of completion to ensure long-term client support.
• Billable Efficiency: Achieve a minimum of 20 billable project management hours per week.
• Professionalism: Maintain professional communication and appearance at all times, representing company standards in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in home technology system installation
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously with a proactive mindset.
• Strong financial acumen related to project budgeting and material tracking.
• Excellent professional communication skills for interacting with high-net-worth individuals, builders, and construction crews.
