IT Manager (AI Cloud)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations and infrastructure at a growing global data centre business based here in Australia.

You will manage a local IT team and take ownership of end-user services, networks, site infrastructure, vendors and security alignment. You’ll also work closely with global technology, engineering and information security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations across corporate and data centre environments
• Manage and develop the local IT support team
• Oversee end-user computing, networks, connectivity and collaboration platforms
• Support the reliability and security of systems used within data centre operations
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network engineering and operational technology teams
• Manage incidents, problems, changes and service levels using ITIL practices
• Oversee vendors, telecommunications providers, procurement, assets and budgets
• Support security controls, audits, risk management and incident response
• Lead the IT workstream for new sites, expansions and infrastructure projects

About you

• Strong IT experience, including experience in a leadership role
• Experience managing IT operations across multiple sites
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, including Entra, SharePoint, Defender and Sentinel
• Experience with networks, infrastructure and end-user technology
• Sound understanding of ITIL service management practices
• Strong vendor, stakeholder and team-management skills
• Experience in data centres, industrial environments or critical infrastructure would be highly regarded
• Google Workspace migration experience, ITIL certification or ISO 27001 knowledge would be advantageous
