The role manages retail marketing and event initiatives across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, with Singapore as the primary market. It is responsible for developing and executing B2B and B2C strategies that align with business objectives and enhance brand presence. Partnering closely with Communications & Design team, the incumbent ensures seamless execution of campaigns and retail activations.

The Opportunity

The Talent

• At least 4 years of experience in trade marketing and event management gained within retail, FMCG, or creative agency environments, with exposure to supermarket chains and event agencies being an advantage.
• Sound understanding of consumer behaviour and customer engagement, coupled with exposure to B2B marketing or commercial partnerships.
• Strong awareness of local market dynamics and emerging trends, particularly within retail and trade marketing channels.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end marketing initiatives, including planning, budgeting, execution, performance tracking, and KPI measurement in collaboration with retail and event partners.
• Passionate about trade marketing with a creative mindset for brand building, storytelling, and developing impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Competent in Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong written and spoken English.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and start-up environment.

The Job

• Lead and oversee client accounts, managing end-to-end trade marketing initiatives and event execution.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies in collaboration with the Design and Communications teams, ensuring alignment across campaign concepts, creative assets, and promotional materials.
• Design and implement trade marketing programs for food and beverage brands across multiple sales channels, including distributors, retail, and e-commerce.
• Drive brand activation initiatives through in-store merchandising, point-of-sale displays, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, product sampling, gift-with-purchase campaigns, and other consumer engagement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, e-commerce partners, government agencies, embassies, trade associations, and importers.
• Identify and establish new strategic partnerships to support business growth and collaborative opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and recommend effective marketing strategies.
• Coordinate and deliver a wide range of indoor and outdoor events, ensuring smooth execution from planning through completion.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and evaluate campaign profitability and return on investment (ROI).
• Measure and analyse campaign performance through regular reporting, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all promotional activities, POS materials, and brand activations adhere to local regulatory requirements and internal brand standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and event partners to ensure the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
