Head of Human Resources

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR leader to join a leading international energy company as Head of Human Resources.I'm currently partnering with my client to recruit an accomplished HR professional to lead the HR function across Europe and North America.

• Salary: £120,000–£150,000

The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of both the strategic and operational HR agenda, leading the development of a modern, commercially focused HR function across the region.

Key responsibilities include

• Designing and implementing the regional HR framework, including organisational design, job grading, performance management and reward structures.
• Developing HR policies, procedures and governance across multiple countries while ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Leading talent acquisition, workforce planning and employer branding initiatives to support continued business growth.
• Managing compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, payroll, pensions and HR budgeting.
• Overseeing UK immigration, Sponsor Licence compliance and Right to Work processes.
• Providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change, succession planning and leadership development.
• Building HR reporting and people analytics to support strategic business decisions.
• Leading and developing the regional HR team while acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior management.

About You

You'll be an experienced HR leader who enjoys building high-performing HR functions, influencing senior stakeholders and working within a dynamic international environment. We're looking for someone with:

Significant HR leadership experience within the energy, oil & gas sector.

Experience supporting businesses across multiple European countries and, ideally, North America.CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, pensions and immigration compliance.

Proven experience in organisational design, HR transformation and change management.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
