Founding - Account Executive

Not tools that help people work faster, but systems that absorb entire functions: manufacturing, marketing, logistics, commerce, quality control. We sit inside our customers’ businesses, harvest deep domain context, and build AI systems that operate autonomously.

We are expanding from retail into manufacturing, generative media, physical AI, and healthcare.

The Role

This is a full-cycle contract sales position for an initial term of 12 months. There is no SDR or BDR underneath you. You will generate your own pipeline, run your own demos, negotiate commercial terms, and close new business.

You will be selling directly to Heads of Ecommerce, Commerce Directors, CTOs, COOs, and occasionally CEOs at mid-market and enterprise retailers, franchise operators, and brand groups across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC, and South Africa.

This is not a passive role. You will pick up the phone, book your own meetings, and close businesswithout waiting for inbound leads to arrive.

What You Will Do

• Prospect outbound across MEA mid-market and enterprise retail accounts — including GCC franchisegroups, regional brand operators, and South African retail groups — via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.
• Run the full sales cycle from first outreach through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.
• Build and maintain a forecast-ready pipeline inside HubSpot CRM with accurate deal stages and activity logs.
• Qualify accounts against a structured ICP framework covering tech stack, revenue band, SKU volume, and fulfilment model.
• Collaborate with the MEA leadership and founding team on account mapping and warm intros through our regional partners.
• Run platform demos tailored to each retailer's operational pain points across the core commerce stack.
• Negotiate SaaS licence fees, GMV-based pricing, and implementation cost structures.
• Feed customer problems and market insight directly to product and engineering.
• Represent Fynd at regional retail and technology events such as Seamless Middle East, the World Retail Congress, and partner roundtables.

What We Are Looking For

5 to 8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with at least 2 years in a commerce platform, OMS, POS, WMS, or headless tech vendor.

Proven track record of outbound prospecting and closing new business on your own. You know what a cold start looks like.

Active outbound calling as a core part of your sales motion. The phone is a first-line tool, not a last resort.

Hands-on CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and fluency with sales engagement platforms such as Apollo, Lemlist, or similar.

Strong commercial instinct including ability to navigate deal structures, pricing conversations, and multi-stakeholder buying committees.

Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai. Hybrid working model (client-first); regular travel across the GCC, including Saudi Arabia, and periodically to South Africa.

DesirableDirect experience at Adobe Commerce, Akinon, BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, Commercetools, VTEX, Centra, or a comparable unified commerce platform ORExperience selling planning, forecasting, or supply chain solutions prevalent in MEA — such as Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, RELEX, Anaplan, Manhattan Associates, or Infor.

Strong understanding of the GCC and South African retail landscape, including franchise-led operating models and the major regional retail groups.

Existing relationships with ecommerce, digital, or IT leadership within GCC retail conglomerates, franchise operators, or brand groups.

Exposure to modern POS or in-store technology platforms and omnichannel store operations.

Knowledge of composable commerce, headless architecture, or API-first retail platform design.

Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's retail transformation agenda and Vision 2030-driven investment in commerce and logistics.

Arabic language skills are a plus, though not required.
