The opportunity

• Supply Chain Lead
• AI Infrastructure, Core42
• Abu Dhabi, UAE. Own end-to-end sourcing execution and delivery assurance for AI infrastructure (GPU, servers, networking and data centre components), with a primary focus on supplier expediting, order fulfilment and execution discipline from PO to delivery.
• This is a hands-on operator role centred on execution, supplier management and delivery discipline — not a strategy-focused position.
• It calls for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage high-pressure delivery environments and drive supplier performance.

Your key responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing (execution-focused)

• Lead RFQ/RFP processes for AI infrastructure, including GPUs, servers, networking and HPC components
• Conduct commercial negotiations with OEMs and distributors covering pricing, lead times and allocation commitments
• Translate demand plans into executable sourcing strategies and supplier awards
• Drive contract finalisation in coordination with legal and commercial stakeholders

Senior Expediting & Delivery Assurance (core focus)

• Own the full PO lifecycle from placement to delivery, GRN and closure
• Act as primary owner for supplier expediting, order tracking and ETA management
• Proactively manage long-lead items, constrained supply environments and complex delivery schedules
• Establish a structured expediting cadence, including weekly supplier reviews and escalation routines
• Maintain real-time visibility across all active orders, including milestones, risks and dependencies

Supplier performance & escalations

• Lead supplier escalations across OEMs, distributors and logistics providers
• Drive recovery plans for delayed or underperforming suppliers
• Implement and manage corrective action plans (CAPs) and supplier performance tracking
• Enforce supplier accountability through contractual levers where required

Execution governance & reporting

• Build and maintain tracking dashboards for the PO-to-delivery lifecycle
• Maintain expediting trackers and risk logs
• Provide weekly executive reporting on delivery status, risks and recovery actions
• Ensure discipline in GRN processing, delivery documentation and system updates

Cross-functional coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, logistics and finance teams
• Align delivery schedules with site readiness and deployment plans
• Ensure consistent, structured communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers

Success measures

• Achieve high on-time delivery performance for all critical AI infrastructure orders
• Maintain full visibility across all active POs
• Reduce delivery delays through proactive expediting
• Drive strong supplier accountability and responsiveness
• Ensure accurate and timely GRNs and documentation

What we’re looking for

(a) Required skills / qualifications

• 8–12+ years in procurement or supply chain roles
• Strong experience in IT hardware, data centre or telecom sourcing
• Proven track record managing high-value POs and complex orders
• Hands-on experience in supplier expediting and delivery recovery
• Strong commercial negotiation skills
• Ability to manage detailed order tracking and execution
• Experience working in constrained supply environments
• Ability to manage senior supplier relationships while operating at a detailed level
• Strong Excel capabilities for tracking and reporting

(b) Preferred skills / qualifications

• Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ariba or SAP
• Ability to build manual trackers where required
