Duties & Responsibilities

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys partnering with the business, and can turn financial information into meaningful strategic insight.

What you'll be doing

• Owning the monthly management reporting process across multiple entities.
• Preparing insightful financial reports, variance analysis, and business commentary.
• Partnering with senior leadership, finance executives, and operational teams to support strategic decision-making.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
• Driving continuous improvements in financial reporting, controls, and internal processes.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger integrity, and intercompany balances.
• Overseeing VAT submissions, tax calculations, and regulatory compliance.
• Supporting internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Finance Supervisors and Accountants.

What we're looking for

• Qualified CA(SA) with compulsory SAICA membership.
• Minimum 1 - 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Previous experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within financial services or insurance will be highly advantageous.
• Sage X3 experience is beneficial.
