Business Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking a contract Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).

Responsibilities

• The following describes the work that will be done by Business Analyst:
• Support current client's projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria and analysis of existing requirements documentation.
• Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities.
• Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements

• 4 years of:
• Experience in the field or related field as a senior level Business Analyst (technical/emerging technology)
• Experience with a basic working knowledge of Agile project management methodology/practices
• Preferred:1 year of:
• Experience understanding and documentation of use cases.
• Experience process documentation mapping
