A small, respected San Francisco-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Bay Area residents is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to join their friendly and collaborative Finance team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a role where your expertise will directly support an organization making a tangible difference in the community. You'll work alongside a collaborative leadership team, oversee key accounting functions, and help ensure the financial health of an organization with an important mission.

What You'll Do

• Process accounts payable/receivable in QuickBooks
• Reconcile accounts in Concur and assist with Payroll
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Partner with Finance leadership on reporting, process improvements, and special projects
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Serve as a key contributor during a critical period of organizational growth and impact

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Non-profit accounting experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Concur
