The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 plus a competitive bonus and incentive package. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. As a Business Development Manager with Foodbuy, North America’s largest foodservice procurement organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our market presence. You’ll be responsible for developing a designated territory and delivering strategic procurement solutions that maximize cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Facilitate seamless client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new members.

Manage and introduce new procurement solutions for further savings and revenue generating opportunities for members.

Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Attend key foodservice events to develop strong relationships with prospective clients and networking opportunities to generate leads.

Develop key relationships with customers, manufacturers/vendors, distribution sales representatives and internally with Foodbuy employees.

Analyze market trends and ROI metrics to support sales strategies and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth.

Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to create tailored procurement solutions. Collaborate closely with fellow Business Development Managers and Account Management teams to drive collective success and strategic growth initiatives.

University degree in business, sales, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in foodservice sales.

Proven ability to generate new business, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong analytical skills to assess procurement needs and propose impactful solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
