Key Responsibilities

• As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, growing existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities include

• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business opportunities Prospect for new customers through research, outreach, networking, and relationship building Manage inbound leads and convert opportunities into sales Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools Identify key decision-makers and develop long-term customer partnerships Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs Prepare proposals, quotes, and product recommendations Manage the sales process from initial contact through order fulfillment Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers Re-engage inactive accounts and identify opportunities for growth Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity tracking

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be a results-oriented sales professional with a strong ability to develop relationships and close opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, technical sales, manufacturing sales, or a related field Proven success achieving sales targets and business development goals Strong prospecting and cold-calling experience Experience managing the full sales cycle Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong relationship-building abilities with customers and decision-makers Ability to understand technical products and provide customer-focused solutions Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Assets
• The following would be considered an advantage:
• College diploma or university degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline Experience selling manufactured products or technical solutions Knowledge of shipping processes, international trade documentation, or export sales Advanced Excel skills Additional language skills Work Location
• This is a 100% in-office position located in the Waterloo, Ontario area.
• The successful candidate will manage a territory focused on North America, with potential opportunities to support international growth.
