As the company evolves from a sales and service organization into a full-scale manufacturing and assembly operation, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to help shape the future of the business. This is not an HR maintenance role.

It is a builder role for an HR leader who wants a real seat at the table and the opportunity to create scalable people infrastructure for a high-growth North American operation.

The Opportunity

The Director of Human Resources will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and drive the people strategy across the United States while supporting HR activities throughout North America.

This role combines strategic leadership with operational execution. You will lead initiatives around organizational development, talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, HR technology, compliance, leadership coaching, and culture transformation.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in developing long-term HR strategies and rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day business challenges.

As a member of the leadership team, the HR Director will support the continued growth and evolution of the organization across both its industrial and software-related business activities, helping attract, develop, and retain top talent in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Leadership
• Partner directly with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategy.
• Build scalable HR infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Act as a key member of the leadership team and influence business decisions.
• Drive succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Talent & Workforce Growth
• Lead recruitment strategies for a growing manufacturing workforce.
• Strengthen employer branding within local communities and technical talent markets.
• Develop partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and workforce organizations.
• Oversee international workforce initiatives, including immigration and visa-related matters.
• Employee Experience & Culture
• Foster a high-performance, people-focused culture.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and leadership development programs.
• Support managers in navigating employee relations and organizational change.
• Serve as a champion for communication, accountability, and collaboration.HR Operations & Systems
• Modernize HR processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Utilize HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, safety-related HR processes, and performance management programs.
• North American Collaboration
• Partner with colleagues across North America and global headquarters.
• Support HR alignment across multiple locations and business units.
• Travel as needed to support regional operations and international collaboration.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, machinery, or technical production environments.
• Proven success building HR programs in growing organizations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent development.
• Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-site or international HR experience.
• Experience supporting rapid organizational growth.
• Familiarity with HRIS implementation and process automation.
• Experience managing visa and global mobility topics.
