Accounting Bookkeeper or retired Accountant

We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper or a CPA (possible retired) to work one to two days per week, who could handle all aspects of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and Bank reconciliations, Journal entries, preparation of financial statements, filing payroll taxes, sales taxes.

(Filing 1040's, 1065, trust returns, it would be a plus, but not necessery)

Knowledge of QuickBooks is a MUST

Proficient in excel and word

Highly organized and accurate

Job is for one to two days per week, ( flexible days)

We are located in the BayRidge, 11209 section of Brooklyn.

Schedule

• 4-8 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company
• Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely processing of payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
• Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
