OUR MISSION

Drive commercial growth across global markets for THE Machines — a technology leader designing and manufacturing production machinery for subsea cable, drip irrigation, and laser welding. You'll build on an established customer base and proven installations worldwide, while actively opening new accounts in high-growth segments.

Your job: identify opportunities, build conviction, negotiate, and close.

This is modern commercial development with discipline — pipeline rigor, CRM methodology, and a closer mentality. Not predominantly based on technology knowhow, but on modern sales skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow & Prospect: Manage and expand relationships with our existing customer base, leveraging our global proof-of-concept installations as reference points — while working closely with our network of local sales agents to identify, develop and win new business opportunities
• Value Selling: Own the full sales cycle.
• Sell the business case — production speed, cost per unit, ROI — not the technical specs.
• Product Managers and experienced colleagues support you on technical depth.
• Pipeline Discipline: Live in Salesforce. Forecast, track, and review your pipeline regularly.
• Key Account Closing: Navigate complex procurement and negotiate CHF 400k–5M machinery deals.YOUR PROFILE6–8+ years closing complex, high-ticket B2B deals (CHF 300k+) — custom machinery or capital equipment, not commodities.
• Process/CRM-driven sales process mindset (Salesforce or equivalent) — you think in pipeline stages and conversion of opportunities.
• Track record of self-directed, conviction-led prospecting and closing of capital equipment deals.
• Entrepreneurial — you thrive in a young, fast-moving environment with startup energy
• Curious enough to learn our technology, but this isn't a technical role — our Product Managers have you covered there.
• Fluent English required;
• French, German, or Spanish a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
