Associate Marketing Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Project Manager keeps creative projects moving day to day — owning timelines, status documentation, and the details that keep work on track. Partnering closely with a Senior Project Manager, this role runs day-to-day status meetings, keeps creative and brand teams aligned on where projects stand, and flags risks early so nothing slips.

It is an executional, growth-oriented role with room to develop into Project Manager and Senior Project Manager positions over time.ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is the in-house creative services team within a large, well-established consumer products organization supporting a portfolio of nationally recognized brands.

The team operates like an internal agency — fast-paced, highly collaborative, and cross-functional — producing creative across digital, social, print, and packaging. Priorities move quickly and projects often shift direction, so the environment rewards people who stay organized and communicate proactively.DAILY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run day-to-day project status meetings and keep creative and brand teams aligned on status, timelines, and next steps
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and task assignments in Wrike, updating them as scope, priorities, or direction change
• Own status reporting, keeping project data, due dates, and deliverables accurate and up to date
• Track progress across multiple projects and follow up proactively on outstanding tasks
• Document meeting notes, decisions, action items, and next steps
• Anticipate downstream impacts, flagging potential risks or bottlenecks early and escalating critical issues to the Senior Project Manager
• Partner with the creative team to set realistic timelines and secure the time and inputs needed to deliver strong work
• Coordinate project intake, setup, and ongoing workflow administration

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–3 years of project coordination, project management, or account operations experience, ideally supporting creative, marketing, advertising, or agency-based projects
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with a proven ability to keep multiple projects and competing priorities on track
• Confident running status meetings and communicating project detail clearly to both creative and brand teams
• Forward-thinking and proactive — able to connect the dots and flag issues before they become problems, and to judge when to solve independently versus escalate
• Experience with project management software (Wrike preferred;
• Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or Jira also considered)
• Collaborative and relationship-driven, comfortable partnering with creative teams rather than working heads-down in tools alone
• Available to work a hybrid schedule in the Columbus, OH area, on-site a minimum of three days per week (must be local)
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen
