Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to support our finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in accounting. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day financial tasks including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and basic financial reporting.

This position requires accuracy, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of related documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform routine data entry.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor invoices.
• Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial files.
• Assist with expense tracking and categorization.
• Support the finance team with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects.
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to input and manage financial data.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
