Overview

The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Staff Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading socially conscious coffee company in Roswell, GA that partners directly with farmers around the world to create a transparent, farmer-focused supply chain while delivering premium coffee to businesses and consumers.

The organization combines ethical sourcing, sustainability, and innovative technology to ensure farmers earn a greater share of the value they create while providing high-quality coffee solutions across multiple industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.

You will analyze financial data, assist with reporting and audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.

Role & Responsibility:

Prepare and record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.

Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Assist with internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
