Base pay range$40.00/hr - $55.00/hrVaco has partnered with a dynamic organization seeking an Interim Senior Accountant with deep expertise in revenue recognition. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong technical accounting skills, and is comfortable working across departments to ensure compliance with ASC606 standards.

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)Pay Rate: $40 - $55 per hour, depending on experienceProject Length: Contract-to-hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply ASC606 and company revenue recognition policies to customer contracts
• Review customer contracts and invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Assist with month-end close, financial analysis, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Provide monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis
• Support internal controls and SOX404 compliance
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of ASC606 and SOX404Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Strong communication and organizational skills
