About the Company

Our client has been at the forefront of welding and industrial equipment in Ireland since 1990. We supply, service, and hire professional welding machinery, consumables, and cutting-edge solutions from orbital and laser welding systems to CNC plasma machines and collaborative welding robots.

The Role

We are looking for a driven and commercially sharp Business Development Manager to join our team and take ownership of growing our customer base across Ireland and drive new business. This is a field-based, relationship-led sales role for someone who thrives on winning new business, understands the trade and industrial supply environment, and knows how to talk to the people on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across fabrication, construction, engineering, and manufacturing sectors
• Manage and grow an existing account base, building strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Promote the full product range including welding machinery, consumables, hire solutions, and specialist systems
• Develop and execute a structured call plan, managing your territory efficiently across Ireland
• Work closely with the internal technical and service teams to ensure customers receive the right solution and after-sales support
• Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline using CRM

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record in field sales or business development within a trade, tools, or industrial supply environment experience with companies such as builders providers, Hilti, Toolbank, tool hire, or industrial distributors is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of the construction, fabrication, or engineering trades and how to sell into them
• A natural relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
• Full clean Irish driving licence requiredWhat's on Offer
