Assistant Manager/Manager, Operations

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORISATION

1. Responsible for profit and loss of the unit and involve in regional roll out of key accounts operation where necessary.

2. Orchestrate comprehensive program and strategy to develop centre of excellence for rework business.

3. Conduct relevant operation audit and provide advice, striving for continuous improvement towards Operations Excellence.

4. Drive for active customer experiences as Customer Focus Team (Operations) CFT to increase customer loyalty.

5. Responsible for the coordination of all warehousing and distribution functions, including inventory, physical distribution, maintenance, record-keeping, traffic scheduling and etc.

6. Responsible for the optimum use of storage space and store layout in the warehouse and for customer’s stock inventory records to be kept accurate and up-to-date.

7. Develop and maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Attends to customers’ enquiries and adopt a proactive approach to minimize complaints.

8. Responsible for staff discipline to upkeep company service level and corporate image while facilitation effective training & development for operations personnel.

9. Provide monthly management reports on overall performance against agreed objectives in the areas of warehouse utilization, stock movements of customers and other matters relating to warehousing and distribution.

10. Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to meet customers’ needs and requirements.

11. Explore business opportunities with existing customer and their suppliers / clients as a lead for further development by sales and marketing staff.

12. Performs other job related functions as and when required by superior.

13. In full compliance to all EHS, Quality, legal and security requirements of the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain and Logistic and any field;

2. At least 5-8 year of working experience in the Logistic / 3PL / Supply Chain is required for this position;

3. Experience and proficiency in requirements management, business analysis and solution definition.

4. Solid organization and multi-tasking skills and good in providing business solution.

5. Excellence in written and verbal communication skills and client-facing experience.

6. Meticulous, detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize tasks;

7. Ability to work independent with minimum supervision, multitask and work well in a fast-paces environment;

8. Positive customer service skills with an ability to communicate eloquently and effectively.
