Senior Project Manager IT

Senior Project Manager/ System Landscape / Spin-Off / System Simplification/100%/ ZurichProject : We are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Stream Lead / Senior IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for a central project stream aimed at simplifying and optimizing the system landscape.

The focus will be on identifying and spinning off functionalities that are not currently optimally integrated into existing systems.

We are looking for an experienced individual from the banking, finance or insurance sector who can manage complex change processes and enjoys sustainably simplifying an established system landscape.

Tasks:

• Responsibility for the planning, management and implementation of the stream within the Nordstern Master Data Initiative
• Identification, evaluation and control of system functionalities that are to be simplified, relocated or restructured
• Maintenance of the spin-off roadmap including dependencies, effort estimates, milestones and risks
• Coordination of cross-functional teams from business and IT in an agile environment
• Ensuring coordination with relevant stakeholders, portfolios and program managers
• Preparation of management reports, decision-making documents and status presentations
• Supporting the program management in overarching transformation activities

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a senior IT project manager, stream lead, program manager or transformation manager (10+ years)
• Experience in managing complex transformation or optimization initiatives in the banking or enterprise environment
• Solid understanding of system landscapes, application architectures and process optimization
• Experience in collaborating with various departments, IT teams, and management stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of agile working methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication, analysis, and structuring skills
• Languages:
• German: C2 (near-native speaker level)
• English: B2 (Upper Intermediate)
