Sr. Manager of Accounting

We are performing a search for a Sr. Manager of Accounting for a growing, very successful, financial services firm in Northern Virginia. This role reporting to the controller will be responsible for corporate accounting functions. Hybrid work environment. Netsuite experience is required Salary around 180k plus bonus. Public accounting and CPA a plus but not required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly and annual close, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Ensure timely issuance of accurate monthly financial reports, cash flow projection updates and forecast both internally and to external stakeholders.
• Manage weekly accounts payable and employee expense report processes.
• Calculate partner draws.
• Serve as a key liaison between finance, operations, IT, legal, compliance, and executive leadership on all matters related to accounting.
• Coordinate and track allocations across departments in the organization.
• Work with Senior Accountant on invoicing and accounts receivable collections.
• Prepare and process payroll and benefits.
• Oversee and manage treasury operations.
• Review bank reconciliations for all accounts.
• Manage and coach indirect reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
