Overview
Responsible for the global financial and accounting operations of the company. Prepare all financial transactions and establish a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to support financial risks and accurate company reported financial results. Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles as defined for the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of our accounting function including general accounting, technical accounting, tax and compliance
- Oversee the accounting process for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and compliance
- Oversee and own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPEnsure compliance to revenue recognition (ASC 606) and customer contractual terms
- Manage our annual financial audit
- Oversee preparation of annual federal and state income tax returns and other tax compliance filings, and coordinate all tax research/projects
- Manage Lead relationships with external auditors, accounting/tax advisors, and other service providers
- Deliver accurate and timely results reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Provide support for the annual budgeting and planning process
- Work with FP&A team on monthly forecast against budget including cash flow projections
- Prepare the company for public company accounting and reporting standards (e.g. SEC reporting and SOX compliance)
- Provide management with education and advice on the financial implications of business activities
- Partner with BU leadership and provide appropriate counsel and direction for financial decisions to help drive results, improve profitability and EBIDTA; facilitates a spirit of cooperation with BU partners
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or closely related field.
Masters Preferred.
Certified Public Accountant designation.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible finance experience.
Skills
Required
- Professional hands-on experiences in general accounting, cost accounting, auditing, and tax in public accounting or corporate firms
- Required: Big 4 public accounting preferred
- Required: Experience in leading and building out a finance function
- Required: Experience in designing and implementing accounting processes and controls
- Strong ERP systems experience, preferably in NetSuiteHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and reporting requirements
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to stakeholders and influence decision making
- Proven experience building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high performing professional accounting team
- Strong project management skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable analysis and insights
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

Physical Requirements
- Position requires: ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.

Salary Range
$150,000-180,000 plus bonus
