LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established aviation company in Dallas to identify a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex environment supporting multiple legal entities and high-volume intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related accounting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support both internal and external audit engagements by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests.
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
• Help improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and document procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience working within private equity-backed organizations, investment banking, or multinational/global operations is highly desirable.
• Exposure to foreign currency accounting is a strong advantage.
