Cloud Engineer AWS

We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud architecture, automation, security, networking, and DevOps practices. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Cloud
• Formation, ECS/EKS, and Route 53.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloud
• Formation.
• Monitor cloud environments using Amazon Cloud
• Watch and other monitoring tools.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, availability, and cost.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS Code
• Pipeline.
• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Document cloud architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, Cloud
• Watch, and Route 53.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS Cloud
• Formation).
• Proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash or Python).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Associate or Professional.AWS Certified Sys
• Ops Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
