Salary Range

(SME Ireland): €60,000 - €85,000 per annum(depending on experience and qualifications).

As a progressive and people-focused employer, my client is now seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. Role Purpose

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading all HR activities across the organisation, ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation while supporting business growth through effective people management. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Leadership & Strategy
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Support workforce planning, organisational development, and change management initiatives.
• Promote a positive workplace culture that reflects company values.
• Employee Relations
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance processes.
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters.
• Support managers in resolving workplace issues and fostering employee engagement.
• Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
• Employment Law & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, contracts, and HR policies.
• Advise management on employment law matters and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements relating to employee records.
• Recruitment, Talent & Development
• Manage recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Identify training and development needs across the business.
• Support succession planning, performance reviews, and employee retention initiatives.
• Develop programmes that enhance employee engagement and capability.HR Operations
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting systems.
• Liaise with payroll providers and support compensation and benefits administration.
• Produce management reports and HR metrics to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Employment Law, or a related discipline.CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management or equivalent professional HR qualification.
• Strong practical knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Desirable
• Chartered MCIPD or FCIPD membership.
• Postgraduate qualification in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Workplace Investigations, or Mediation.
